so im left with my little sister and little brother
and my sister is asking me why my other sister isnt coming home and i dont know what to say because whatever i say to her im going to burst into tears and i dont want to make her cry so how do i explain it to her
my mums said to just say that shes gone to see the angels and stuff and tell her that are mate up there is looking after her but believe me thats easier tthan it sounds
whatever i say i know im going to break my little sisters heart
and i havent even been able to cry about this yet and i dont want to cry infront of her

and i dont want to leave it to my mum coz my mums already really upset and i dont want to make it worse for her

so someone please help

She's upset because she doesn't understand. Without the ability to abstract, you cannot truly understand death. I'm not saying she's not smart. I'm saying because of her age, psychologically she is not capable of understanding death.
